OUR PHILOSOPHY
I have always been inspired by Shaker furniture, Mid Century Modern designs, and amazing woodworkers such as Nakashima, Wegner, Esherick and Maloof. While from distinct periods in time, a common thread runs through: build furniture that showcases the inherent beauty of wood while crossing the threshold from furniture-maker to artist. My goal is to honor these craftsmen (and craftswomen) by adopting many of their construction techniques and their artistic approaches to furniture designs.
OUR LOCATION
​Our wood shop is located in Edge’s Mill, a three-story, stone grist mill built in 1784 - just eight years after the Declaration of Independence was signed! It seemed appropriate that we honor furniture makers from the past by duplicating their furniture making techniques in a mill that has seen over 230 years of history.

We are located in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, approximately one hour west of Philadelphia.
​OPENING HOURS
Our wood shop is operational Monday through Friday. We are open on Saturdays from 9 AM to 3 PM for the public so that you can see our furniture and shop.
