Ebonized Spindle Back Chair:

Our ebonized spindle back chair is made from a small choice of hardwoods with every part made right here in our Colorado-based shop. We turn every leg and spindle, carve and shape the seat, and install leg stretchers for additional strength. The chair (pictured above) was made for a house in Los Angeles and is made from stunning Pennsylvania white oak.

This chair has an amazing ebonized finish - a two-part process that yields a deep black, matte/satin finish that still allows the grain pattern to show through. We apply a pre-color to our chairs and then a durable, organic oil/wax mix.

These chairs can be used at kitchen tables, in a work study, at a desk or kitchen island.
