Low Back Ebonized Spindle Bench:
Our newest spindle design, the Low Back Ebonized Spindle Bench, evolved from a client's need for a narrow bench with a low back. This bench was designed for a client outside of Seattle, Washington and fits the needs of a particular client. At 14" deep, this bench is perfect for a narrow entryway, small nook, at the foot of your bed or a perfect addition to your new nursery. Add a custom coat rack behind the bench or hang a beautiful mirror above it. If you have a store, use it to display your most cherished items.
Each spindle and leg is turned in-house and assembled via wedged mortise and tenon joinery. The bench is carefully assembled, detail sanded and finished by hand. We also make this bench in a version with stretchers that connect from leg to leg and connect those stretchers together. Please contact us for example photos and pricing.
FINISH:
There are two finish options for this bench. Our most popular is a water-based urethane that comes in Semi-Gloss or Satin sheen. This finish yields a deep black and is a film forming finish. We also have a no VOC, oil/wax finish that helps maintain the natural look of wood grain. This finish is applied on top of a black dye stain and yields a matte/satin sheen. Feel free to ask for a sample of the finish.

Shipping will be billed separately after purchase unless a custom listing is provided with shipping included. Freight shipments are packaged with care and detail (see last photo) to ensure they arrive safe at your residence.
Free Local Delivery:
We offer free delivery within a 30-mile radius of Loveland, CO. Those craftsmen who built your piece of furniture will personally deliver the piece and carry it into your home or place of business. We'll make sure that it's placed correctly and then answer any final questions. Unlike shipping companies, we prefer to deliver in the evenings or on the weekends (Sundays) so that you don't have to take off from work and we will provide you with a +/- 15 minute delivery window.
Midwest:
In the following states (Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma and New Mexico) we also prefer to deliver our own furniture (if applicable) and provide you with the same customer-focused, white glove service as above. Our fee covers fuel and tolls and is less than the cost of freight shipping, plus our Sunday delivery times are much more convenient.
Nationwide:
For all other areas, we ship via freight carriers with a 7-10 day delivery period (sometimes faster). Your piece will be carefully packaged and wrapped for the trip, and then we build a custom wooden box to ensure the furniture arrives safely. Each piece is covered in plastic, wrapped in soft blankets and plastic wrapped. They are secured well inside the custom wooden crate. One side of the crate has easy access so it can be easily opened at its destination. The freight carrier will contact you to arrange delivery (usually a 4-5 hour window) and then they will deliver the box. The customer is then responsible for unpacking the furniture (we'll provide instructions) and disposing of the packing materials. Most pieces ship for $300-$600; oversize items incur additional charges.
